“They say rebirths come in 7 year cycles, which means our band’s life, spanning over the past 7 years, is at the ripe age for change, transformation, reconnecting, conversion and revolution,” the girls explain. Close to killing each other after years of intense touring on the road together, they needed time to take a break, live life and get creatively inspired apart from each other and the band.
Lisa found her heart in Nashville, being turned on by the blues, rock and soul scene that lines the streets there.

The Veronicas have unleashed a heart-stopping video for their newest single, “Lolita.” The clip was directed by Spencer Susser, who also directed Lana Del Rey’s video for “Summertime Sadness” and the indie drama Hesher, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Natalie Portman.
“Working with Spencer Susser on the visual side of ‘Lolita’ was a chance for us to explore the darker side of love through fantasy and science-fiction concepts,” says Jess. “His cinematic presence brought to life the visual symbolism prevalent in our story of star-crossed love — and the revenge that follows.”
