Lisa Marie Origliasso born 25 December 1984) is an Australian singer-songwriter, actress and fashion designer. Born and raised in Albany Creek, Queensland she, along side twin sister Jessica Origliasso, performed in show business at a young age. Origliasso rose to fame in 2000's when she and her sister formed a pop duo The Veronicas.[2]

Prior to The Veronicas, Origliasso had a small career in acting. In 2001, she had a recurring role in the children's television series Cybergirl as Sapphire Buxton.[2][3] In 2007, she co-designed a fashion line with, her sister, called The Veronicas, aimed at girls aged 7-14, for Target.[4] Origliasso has been endorsed by Nu:U, Calvin Klein, Keds and Estée Lauder[5][6][7][8] Staff.

In late 2010, Lisa and Texan prodigy, Tyler Bryant, released demoes under the monniker of Dead Cool Dropouts through their tumblr.

The Veronicas are an Australian electrorock, pop-punk and rock band. Twin sisters Jessica and Lisa Origliasso formed the band in 1999 in Brisbane. They have their own line of clothing which was released in 2007.

They have released two studio albums, the first being The Secret Life of... in 2005. It peaked at #2 on the Australian charts and gained an ARIA certification of four times platinum, for 280,000+ sales. The Secret Life of... spawned five singles, including three top ten singles in Australia.

The Veronicas released their second album Hook Me Up in 2007; it peaked at #2 on the Australian charts and earning a certification of two times platinum. The album has had four Australian top ten singles released from it to date. The album's title track, "Hook Me Up", was The Veronicas' first number one single in Australia.
